You can get started quickly and play on Arcadia for free! But in certain situations, platform fees will apply. These might include buying into a tournament to share in the prizepool, purchasing game items from the marketplace to equip onto your Arcadian, or fees for hosting your own tournaments with prizes (they're small and aimed at preventing bots). Think of it like shopping at a store or playing games in real life - sometimes you pay a little extra to get a richer experience, upgrade your character, or unlock bigger rewards. We make sure to keep the fees fair and transparent.

Arcadians are the retro-arcade NFT avatars usable on Arcadia. Each Arcadian is your own portable hero — a unique, customizable avatar with the ability to transcend traditional barriers between games, growing in strength and stature as they traverse Arcadia and growing multiverse. With your Arcadian, you'll be able to level up, complete quests and participate in challenges to unlock special rewards. You can even use your Arcadian as your character in games within Arcadia. As a holder, you have complete ownership of your Arcadian: it's up to you how you want to build and use your Arcadian!

The Genesis Arcadians collection by OPGames was the first and original NFT collection of the company. It was used solely to fund open source engines and game developers. It also gave the community the first taste of the perks and benefits of holding our NFT. The primary difference between the two NFT drops is the blockchains that they are built on. The Genesis Arcadians collection was born and will remain on the ETH blockchain. Because of high gas prices and transaction fees, building games on ETH would be limiting for both our creators and players, resulting in our decision to build Arcadians: Reloaded on Polygon.

The Arcadians: Reloaded is OP Games' evolution. Built on the Polygon Network, we hope gamers (and not solely speculators) mint the Arcadians: Reloaded NFT as growing our game ecosystem is our top priority with this mint. Each Arcadian is made unique at mint and is your avatar to shape and mold as you progress on your journey!

First things first: Genesis Arcadians holders will automatically receive mint passes for the Arcadians: Reloaded drop. Genesis holders will continue to receive special benefits in-game and within the community like prizepool or XP multipliers as well as exclusive access to game content. While the release of the Arcadians: Reloaded is designed to open the gates to more players and grow our game ecosystem, holding an original Arcadian makes you an OG on Arcadia.

Arcadian V1 Holders - Opens on June 5th 12:00 UTC- June 6th 12:00 UTC (No mint pass required)

Whitelist T1 - Open on June 6th from 12:00 UTC to 14:00 UTC. Claim your Mint Passes AND mint your Arcadian: Reloaded NFTs on our mint site during this window, or else your Mint Passes will be forfeited.

Whitelist T2 - Open on June 6th from 14:00 UTC to 16:00 UTC. Claim your Mint Passes AND mint your Arcadian: Reloaded NFTs on our mint site during this window, or else your Mint Passes will be forfeited.

Public Mint - If our collection is not minted out by June 6th at 16:00 UTC, anyone can mint Arcadian: Reloaded NFTs (max 2 per wallet).

Arcadians will be forged by players through a “mint game”. Players participating in the mint will play a game, gameplay determines the number of customizable assets when creating your avatar.

Arcadians Reloaded will be a FREE MINT! Just join the minting process described above. When all V2 Arcadians are minted out, you can also purchase them on the secondary market.

All you need to do is visit Arcadians.io during the OG mint window.

OG Mint window - Opens on June 5th 12:00 UTC- June 6th 12:00 UTC.

Once on the site you will be able to progress through the mint game, customize your Arcadian: Reloaded, confirm the gas fee, and mint.

During your mint phase, visit the Magic Eden Launchpad to receive your mint pass. Once you've completed the mint pass process on Magic Eden, head over to Arcadians.io to begin the mint game and progress through the customization process. After you've completed the mint game, you'll go through the customization flow, confirm the gas fee, and mint your very own Arcadian: Reloaded.

If you are not an OG Arcadian V1 holder, and not on the Whitelist:
Your mint window will fall under our Public Mint phase.

In the event our collection is not minted out by June 6th at 16:00 UTC, anyone can mint Arcadian: Reloaded NFTs (max 2 per wallet) directly on our mint site.
